I had already obtained a quantity of Jamieson & Smith (Aran weight) from another well known company, but it was going to be short!!! (Because it's thick & heavy it's short length.)
That company had no more and wasn't going to get any in for ages...
I looked and found THIS company on the wool label. They had it in... Brilliant! I ordered 4 balls.
When it came,... it was even the same batch number!!!

Beautiful wool. I usually buy by the ball but this works out a lot cheaper if you use a lot of it.

I'm not going to provide a rating for the shipping as there were considerable delays but (a) Jamieson & Smith warned that this would be the case and (b) the delays were due to factors beyond J & S's control. I am extremely happy with my order now that it has arrived.
My purchases included needles - they look like really good quality ones, stitch holders, a knitting belt (see review below), 6 balls of wool in gorgeous colours and an inspirational colour card.

It is always a pleasure to shop online at J&S. I opted for some Supreme Jumper Weight, and a few individual skeins of 2 ply for a Fair Isle sweater that I am designing. The package reached me in the US in 2 weeks, which seemed fast given the recent delays with Royal Mail. The yarn was on my needles within minutes, and I am gleefully swatching Fair Isle designs. I'm looking forward to shopping there in person this summer!

Please join the EU again, needed to pay a huge amount of customs tax. This may be a reason for me not to buy again, unfortunately! So sorry. But I do love what I bought. So maybe next year I will see to afford a trip to Woolweek. Then I will stock up.
