I can't fault the bbq of the shipping but the customer service afterwards is terrible. I have sent emails and left voicemails (they don't answer the phone) requesting a VAT receipt and they don't bother to reply. The bbq was £900 and I can't claim the VAT back because they haven't sent me a VAT receipt so it's effectively cost me an extra £180. Even an acknowledgment would be appreciated.

Great product, the item I ordered happened to be out of stock but Planet explained this to me and offered me a gift for the trouble because I had to wait for my BBQ, great customer service and contacted me when I hade any questions.

For the price - cannot be beaten .. a good quality screw driver and pair of pilers is all you need . It takes some time to assemble and is fiddly at times but when it all assembled very sturdy . Two friends have followed its assembly journey and got santa ( wife ) to buy them one for Christmas --- ribs smoking as I write this -- well done.

Lockdown created a massive demand for BBQs and Spits - in my case an extra long one!

Planet Barbecue are the absolute masters of their craft - and their enthusiasm is infectious. Whatever kind of barbecue you think you might want, have a word with them (I did, via email) and they will give you great advice - and not push a more expensive item than the one you thought you wanted. I have now ordered 3 barbecues from them (for a range of different holiday accommodation units) and they're all perfect. Enough said!

We went on holiday with the brother in law and the wife's sister and he had one of these bbq's I was well impressed
It is a well made bbq, being easy to set up and when used easy to clean.
It arrived on day stated .As the brother in law recommended this company to me I would do the same to friend's and family ,

I have shopped at Planet Barbecue several times before and I have found their overall service very good. The products they sell have not been to be found wanting. This order of a smoker by callow was delayed by unforseen personal circumstances. The smoker came direct from the makers hence the delay. I cannot recommend Planet Barbecue highly enough for service and quality of the products they sell.

A small issue that I had with the motor of this product was resolved extremely promptly and without quibble.
The replacement was of a standard that is more than compensatory for the issue that I had with the previous motor.
