Waited a week before they contacted to be told delivery would be a month and not a week . Waited a month and contacted them again and told delivery would be another month. Cancelled order and asked for refund . Dreadful service only responded when I contacted them. Guess if I hadn’t pushed the order would have stayed on the todo list.

Fully agree very poor service, shows we do have humans working for us, your order was an extended delivery product and not processed correctly at our end, system tightened so it doesn't happen again. Apologies and I can see you refund was done as requested. Dave A.

Got it in the 3 day period what was great with everything that’s going on at the moment was the rain came and cleaned the stones they’re looking great.

This is the second time I've ordered from J Parr. The prices and customer service are excellent and the speed with which this order was delivered was outstanding (too quick to be honest, but rather that than some of the snails pace deliveries I've suffered over the last few months).

I can’t comment as I haven’t received the goods yet. I got an email on Wed 15th July to say that delivery would be made in 1-3 working days so I took some time off work to prepare the area to be gravelled. Then on Monday 20th July I received another email to say that you don’t have the goods in stock so there’ll be a delay in delivery. Very disappointing as I wanted to have the job finished and if I hadn’t received the initial email saying 1-3 days I wouldn’t have taken time off then.

First order turned up unannounced and incomplete and then required a number of emails to correct and then the order again turned up unannounced, delivery driver excellent sales and communication both embarrassing, inaccurate and diabolical, did send an email to the Manager but did not receive a reply hence the review.

First order they try to deliver on day I told them I was on holiday. New order on 10th July, heard nothing by 17th about delivery for 20-24th so call. One depot say it is not them so I ring the other, they say not them so I go back to the first, they say they would ring me back, they don't. I ring them again on 20th they tell me again it is the other depot so I ring them, they say they will ring me back now about an hour later they have not. They they appear to not have a clue!

Hi, your order was click & collect so you won't be receiving the goods. We emailed you at 9am on Sunday 12th , the day after your order we placed advising they are ready for collection the next day. The goods are still awaiting your collection.

Not informed when delivery was to be made (estimated 4 weeks arrived in 3 weeks). Driver arrived unexpectedly at 8.00 on the morning with no prior notice. Driver placed pallet near road on shared drive so had to move it quickly. one of the bags of clippings was split, so when moved it a large amount of chipping went on the drive, and had to put back in the bag. Previous Trellis had no knots in so not as good quality. Previous order was 5 / 5 as no issues.

After using J Parr for a number of years rather than competitors, prices I have paid do not reflect loyalty. I have paid over the odds for material and the response from a member of your team was “it’s the internet set price”.
I know these are C19 times, but a good reminder of business is to look after people who come back and use your products.

Not sure what your complaint is we have kept our rates online at the same price other than items that have gone up from suppliers. Our rates are monitored against competition and are competitive, there are loyalty points offering discount for online customers. If you have tried to pay over the phone you will have been directed online as we don't offer this method of payment now. Dave A.
